Ultimate Comfort and Convenience with Our Baby Carrier Waist Seat

Could use an attachment to make it totally hands free. Also could use more cushioning around support (hurts my csection scar sometimes). Overall I it has relieved holding up a heavy baby with our hands (just use one arm to wrap around baby's chest/belly)...less stress on the back and arms. I recently had to put a wash cloth around the plastic insert (the internal support) because it cuts into my groin area...not sure if it's lost some cushioning there because it didn't hurt the first few weeks we had it).

Helps. But the buckle sucks. The hook parts on the prongs of the buckle are too shallow so when you buckle it and try to tighten the strap, it pops out. So that’s kinda dumb. Yes, it does dig into your hip with weight on it so positioning is kinda key and keeping it tight would help but the buckle cant take it so 🤷🏻‍♀️Helps me not exacerbate my carpal tunnel though which is nice. Pretty good price for this.

Comfortable and secure fit. Did not give 5 stars because I thought it could be improved, safety-wise, by adding some kind of simple strap or belt to hold the child on the seat in case the adult trips or stumbles. As it is now, if I trip and involuntarily throw out my hands to break my fall, the baby will fall too. Also, I can't totally agree with the reviewer who said that she is now free to cook and clean - - especially with a wiggley one year old I need still need both hands to hold him on the seat. But all in all the higher price is worth getting rid of the back pain.

I think whether this works for you will depend largely on what you intend to use it for and what your expectations are. This review is coming from a mama with a 26 lb 15 month old. Some things to know.. 1. It is uncomfortable... Some tips to alleviate discomfort: a.) don't put anything in the bottom zipper of the main compartment (the top is fine) as you will feel it dig into your hip b.) wear it as tight as possible c.) once you put your kiddo on, allow the fit to adjust to an angle so that the seat side is lower and resting against the flattest part of your outer hip (rather than on top of the bone) and the opposite side is much higher, just below the ribs. It's worth noting these tips are based on my body type, which is on the smaller side. I imagine if I had more cushion it might not be so uncomfortable. 2. It is still work. Carrying a 25+ lb toddler for an extended time is going to tax your body in one way or another - no carrier can change that. Where that tax comes from matters - this product places it at the hips. I do love this thing. Here's why: 1. My toddler is crazy independent and asks to get down constantly. It is so easy to pick him up and put him back down 2. It is so easy to vary your carry. All you need to do to switch from hip to hip to front carry is swivel it around your waist 3. Storage! This thing practically doubles as a diaper bag. 4. It is so easy to put on and take off. I even put it on just to go from the house to the car because I've got everything I need in it and it's actually easier to throw it on than to carry the kid and the stuff separately

Very convenient thing, to dress simply, good Velcro and second lock latch. It's not gonna fall. The child is comfortable, sits like a shelf, my mother's hand holds, and the second hand is finally free!

Heard about this from a friend who had a 8 month old at the time. When you have a fussy baby who wants to be held constantly or at an event and need to carry your baby around, this product is great.

This has been a lifesaver on my spine. It does not work well for my husband with his straight hips and his height. He said it really hurts his groin and nerves. I get asked about it all the time. I love that often I can only carry that and not baby bag. Maybe if the pocket compartment could be just a smidge bigger for people who use cloth diapers like me I could fit it just a little easier. I love the color. I love the safety features. One of the little straps that holds the belt in place broke but it's not a safety issue. Actually the threads there came loose pretty early on.

Very satisfied with the hipsite. Good qulity. The child is comfortable sitting. I don't feel the weight of the child and I can do my homework, make purchases and just walk. There is no load on the back.

I use this all the time for my 18 month old who hates strollers and who like to alternate walking (running) and being held. It's very easy to use, and is the one carrier that even my parents feel comfortable using.

I have a 2 yr old boy, he is 28lb, but he still wants to hop on me. I hold him only for a while and I get pain in the arm because he was so heavy. Now the carrier frees my hand. I just need to hug my baby and my arm will not feel as tired as before. His grandparents also feel much more relaxed after using it. The carrier is light and easy to use.

Absolutely love this side carrier. Fits great, very comfortable and I love the pocket. Perfect for phone, keys and a couple cards. Navy blue is really dark, thought it was black at first. So I gave 5 stars specially for the product. The product came just as photoed, the color was exact and the construction seems very good! The fabric is soft and the Velcro and clasp seem sturdy! I am very excited to start using this product with my toddler who loves to be carried around quite a bit.

This baby carrier is very helpful for to go. Sometime baby hates being in the stroller and want to be carried. Like one time my baby was wanting to get carried on my hip for a long time during Christmas parade and this is such a life saver.

I’m on day two with this thing and I’m obsessed. It’s lightweight to wear and a comfortable perch for my 10.5 month old. I’ve had horrible back issues from jutting my hip out to carry around a 20+ lb baby all the time, but with this I can walk and stand fairly normally while having her on my side. I’m loving all the storage pockets, too! I find the design well thought-out and it’s very adjustable.

I bought about 9 different hip carriers and this is THE best one. I spent from $20 - $80 on each carrier and none of them comes close to what this one offers. I looked very meticulously for 4 important features: Storage space under the seat, a side pocket, a bottle holder, firm angle of seat. I get stopped everywhere and get asked about this ingenious invention. Seriously, my back felt like it was going to break before I started using this!

I love this product. I am a grandmother and was finding it hard to carry my 20 lb granddaughter for a long distance without her slipping in my arms. This was my perfect solution. I used it with and without the styrofoam seat filler. When I kept the styrofoam in it felt more solid for sitting. Still used other pocket for snacks. My granddaughter sits very comfortably and I am not constantly adjusting my hold on her. Great product!
